i heard you say
on that dark winter's night
a seemingly casual remark
caught between the wind and the hush
of snowflake falling over snowflake
and maybe i misheard
or maybe i got it right
it's hard to tell
your arms held me so tight
but just as i was certain
lips were for kissing only
