Taking Stock

Measure For Measure

Taking Stock

This morning I woke up and wondered if I divided my life in two parts, with one part being all the happy moments and the other part being all the sad and painful moments, which part would be the larger of the two.

Tough call ... I have seen some rough times, but I do think the happy part would have a slight edge.

What about you? How does your life stack up?

  1. Mmmm ... Although there have been some truly diabolical moments within my past ... I would have to say that eventually they have been diluted by the happy moments that followed ....
I usually come to terms with a negative by trying to find the positive and I do believe that everything happens for a reason.
Therefore ... my happy pile is far stronger than my sad one .... ~smile~

    1. I missed the question didn't I ... ~grin~
My life has stacked up pretty okay ... the people who mean something to me are still in my world ... and for me ... thats all that counts!

  2. Like so many others, I've had my fair share (maybe more than a fair share) of difficult times in my life. However, I survived them all and made it to this day, thank you very much.

The happy times win hands down.

    Love the music ... xxx

  3. I also agree that the happy moments of my life would outweigh the negative ones. I've had my share of troubles, but most of those were self-induced.

  4. Mostly happy - although, there are some days when that opinion of my life can ebb and flow on an almost hourly basis.

  5. Hmmmm good question. Slight edge on happiness now! There were many painful years so, I'm sure grateful for the good times. Hope you have a good weekend :)

  6. For me there were probably more happy moments, yet the sad and painful moments seem so much heavier.....
